Designed by Hilary Smith Kennedy, this end-to-end project for a young family represents professional consultation on house plans all the way through final installations of furniture. Hilary used a palette of serene blues and greens in the main living spaces to set off the natural light from the home’s expansive windows and blur the lines between outdoors and indoors. The seamless flow of color from one room to the next in this home creates a cohesive atmosphere that really creates an overall sense of spaciousness and tranquility. The daughters’ rooms are a special feature of this project, and are fun, vibrant reflections of each girl’s unique personality. Nearly every furnishing in this project was new, and carefully selected by Hilary to blend style with functionality, ensuring comfort and durability for years to come.
