The owners of this historic district home in Lake Charles, Louisiana were second-generation clients for Dixon Smith Interiors designer Joel Fazende. They asked Joel to help them completely furnish and decorate their new home after a fire destroyed their old house. The family of six - including young children - wanted plenty of color and personality in their new home. From paint colors to custom upholstery, drapery, bedding, and furniture pieces, Joel created a lively, inviting aesthetic for this home that is beautiful and cohesive in style without being overly formal.
